This job is for the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Resources at South Lanarkshire CouncilThe role involves leading the Council's financial arrangements and implementing strategic initiativesThe postholder will be responsible for a wide portfolio of services and the administration of Council financial affairs

Responsibilities
• Carrying out recruitment checks and pre-employment checks• Managing legislative information and ensuring compliance• Promoting equal opportunities and supporting the armed forces community• Providing support and benefits to employees• Handling all correspondence via email
Requirements
• Holding a professional financial or accountancy qualification• Being a member of a recognised accountancy body• Complying with the Local Government and Housing Act 1989
