Wiltshire Reablement - Empowering Independence
Reablement offers Occupational Therapists the unique opportunity to work proactively with customers in their own homes, achieving greater independence with customers, and utilising their experience to achieve a positive impact upon a customer’s life.
The Reablement Service is led by Occupational Therapy Managers and benefits from support from our principal Occupational Therapist. The occupational therapy role is highly valued and the team establishment includes newly qualified Occupational Therapists, assistants, occupational therapy apprentices. The service works with Bournemouth University and UWE to support students' training. Reablement at Wiltshire Council offers Occupational Therapists a unique opportunity to work in a team managed by an Occupational Therapist and in a Service that values the role and offers carer progression through support, training and career coaching.
You will support people in a mixed caseload who are returning from Hospital or experiencing a change in their abilities in the community with the autonomy to manage your own time and schedule.
You must hold a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy (or pending) with 2 years post qualification experience and hold a valid full UK drivers’ licence.

This position comes with a 12.5% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
