Our client, a prestigious London University, is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join them as a temporary Learning Technologist. The position is 35 hours per week, for 2 months. The role offers hybrid-working, with 1-2 days per week based on-site in Central London.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Acting as the main contact point for staff matters relating to digital learning, teaching and assessment technologies used by the university.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
- Supporting the university in using appropriate technologies to support student learning and creating online activities and digital assets to promote an engaging learning environment.
- Undertaking data analysis related to the use of the digital learning technologies, and report findings to help inform the strategic direction of the university.
- Troubleshooting issues related to digital learning and the VLE.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a higher education setting.
- Demonstrable, strong experience in providing technical support for VLEs (ideally Moodle), in a higher education setting.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using various IT systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and respond promptly to technology-enhanced learning support requests.
