Severn Wye is looking for a talented individual to deliver a range of sustainability projects in Llandrindod Wells.
At “The Hive” we’ve created an award-winning sustainability hub that supports families and the community in Llandrindod Wells. We are now expanding our team to continue this success and grow our activity on site.
After spending 12 months talking to families about what was important to them and helping them come up with project ideas to make their lives better, we then secured funding to deliver these projects for a further three years. Since then, we have worked with the Town Council to renovate an empty building into a multipurpose hub that houses the projects developed through the project and lot more. As Facilities Coordinator, this is where you will be based – serving the community directly and helping them access the services they need.
The ideal candidate will be well-organised, enjoy producing excellent work and love working in a team environment. Whether you are known for your problem-solving, attention to detail or your people skills – you may well be the person Severn Wye are looking for.
Why you’ll enjoy working with us.
Ok, we know other sectors often pay a little more, but we offer so much else that makes Severn Wye a great organisation to work for.
We offer salaries comparable with other organisations in the non-profit sector, but the rewards of working with us go beyond the monthly pay cheque. We love what we do. You will enjoy a relaxed and supportive work environment, and colleagues who are knowledgeable, generous and committed to making a difference. Our flexible working arrangements are designed to accommodate the work/life balance our people need depending on where they are in their life and career, which means we benefit from the experience and enthusiasm of employees of all ages and backgrounds.
We’ll provide the training you need to help you grow in your role and get to grips with the energy landscape. You’ll start on 24 days annual leave increasing to 29 days, plus bank holidays. You’ll have excellent support for the future such as Group Life Assurance and a company pension scheme with employer contributions of 7% when you put in 5% or more. We get together regularly for social events and look after you outside work hours with employee discounts on a range of outlets, including discounted gift cards and cashback.
If this sounds like an environment in which you’d thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
