A client within the Public Sector based in Nottinghamshire is currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to join their team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a managing environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to assist with the delivery of a programme of civil & highway infrastructure projects of all sizes, complexities and risk through conception, feasibility, planning, design, construction, and post construction phases to the required quality within specified time and cost constraints.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• support and promote the Council's core values and corporate service standards and to communicate these throughout the team.


• carry out necessary consultations with other groups, sections, departments and organisations.


• assist in the development of a culture which is consistent with the Council's vision of enthusiastic and forward-looking partnership, and delivery of efficient and effective services within a Customer First environment.


• the operation and participation as necessary, in the Council's emergency plan and callout procedures.
  

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to be educated to degree level in a relevant subject and have an ILM level 5 in supervisory management or equivalent BIFM level 5 qualification.

The below qualifications would be beneficial for the role:

• Minimum of five years management experience within a FM management role


• CBIFM (Certified Member - British Institute of Facilities Management)


• NEBOSH General Certificate


• Full UK Driving Licence.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £27 - £28 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
