Location: Edmonton, London
Salary: £23,500- £25,700 Per Annum + Benefits
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Facilities Officer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plumbing repairs including unblocking sinks, toilets, urinals etc., and replacing tap washers.
• Decorating, including wallpapering. This will include painting ceilings, walls, windows, and woodwork.
•  Minor repairs to plaster and brickwork.
• Repairing door handles/latches/locks and window fastenings and adjusting ill- fitting doors and closing mechanisms.
•  Repairing or fitting shelving, notice boards and chalk boards. Mending tables, desks, chairs and other school equipment.
• Turning off water, gas, and electrical supplies in the event of emergencies (where safe to do so); Cleaning out gutters, downpipes, and roof outlets in accordance with the School’s Safety Policy. Unblocking drains, using rods if necessary.
• Inspect school premises to ensure Health & Safety standards are met.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to use hand and power tools when required.
• Experience with general maintenance.
