An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Facilities Services Technicians to join West London NHS Trust on our London sites. This is an interesting role where we will be providing full infection control training. As a Facilities Technician you will carry out a pivotal role in the running of the hospital by providing cleaning and housekeeping functions in order to create a clean and healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Applicants should have some experience of working in domestic and or specialist cleaning services. Experience of working in a care setting would also support your application. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidates. Literacy and numeracy will be evaluated during the interview process as there is a basic requirement for English language skills.
To be responsible for providing facilities services including, portering tasks, specialist cleaning, unskilled cleaning and maintenance related to cleaning and all associated procedures throughout the Trust in order to create a clean, healthy and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors in accordance with local and national health, safety and hygiene legislations, The Health & Social Care Act 2008 and the NHS Cleanliness in Hospital Plan and PLACE.
