We are looking for a Facilities & Workplace Service Desk Coordinator to join on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract
Where in Wellcome will I be working?
You will be part of the wider the Environment &Workplace (E&W) team, reporting to the Building Services Manager. The Facilities and Workplace team ensure the building can operate 24/7.
What will I be doing?
The Facilities & Workplace Service Desk Coordinator is required to professionally manage all service requests per service delivery expectations and provide the means for service request initiation/routing in one system. These requests, in the provided workflow system, will then be properly processed by the appropriate service Partner/Supplier.
As a Facilities & Workplace Service Desk Coordinator, you will:
Provide a professional and approachable high-quality F&W Service Desk experience for all occupants and visitors to Wellcome's Building
Triage requests to the Service Desk, risk assessing these to decide service delivery priorities.
Ensure that all telephone calls/ and responses to all emails are dealt promptly and efficiently, in an articulate manner and communicate with end users to ensure they are kept up to date on the progress of their requests.
Co-ordinate the bookable spaces within Wellcome's UK buildings ensuring that allocation decisions maximize use of available space and considers accessibility needs.
Ensure the Service Desk is covered throughout core business hours, providing an effective handover of information and responsibilities to other Service Desk members at change over.
Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.

We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in the development of a customer service culture as well as providing first class costumer service. Customer service orientation.
Ability to work as part of a team. Motivated and organised with a desire to improve.
Experience of working with Concept, Condeco and other key CAFM systems.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Able to work under pressure and to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Our Hybrid Way of Working

We are currently working 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our Euston Road offices (as part of our hybrid Ways of Working) with the remaining 3 days from home.
Due to the nature of this role, we would ideally require someone to be in the office at least 4 days a week.
