Hr Advisor

Avocet Commercial is delighted to be working with one of the South West’s most successful businesses in their field as they seek to recruit a confident, enthusiastic HR Advisor to join their highly skilled HR team. 

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be integral in implementing the company’s group HR and People strategy. Based in their busy Exeter office, you will proactively take responsibility for delivering impeccable HR services across the business.

Duties include

• Providing and delivering expert advice on all company HR policies and processes
• Working closely with management and department head to accurately plan and resource for company growth
• Design and deliver engaging training programs to develop existing employees skillsets
• Carrying out performance management reviews and appraisals
• Working with and providing HR support for all management and employee relation issues.

The successful HR Advisor will be able to demonstrate the below skills and attributes

• Previous experience working as a HR Professional
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working toward your CIPD would be advantageous, but not essential
• Excellent employment law and best practice knowledge
• Exceptional communication skills
• Able to work effectively and support your team within a fast-paced environment

Salary/ Benefits

• Starting salary up to £34,000
• Company bonus scheme
• 25 days holiday
• Office based Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00 or 08.30 – 17.30 with a 1 hour lunch break.
