About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our established shared services team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is full time 35 hours per week covering our office hours (8am to 5pm). Our working style is flexible and hybrid, offering 2 days working from the office and 3 from home. We are open to this position being based from either our Oldham or Exeter office.
Reporting to the ER and Change Manager you'll be joining our team of existing HR Advisors and working closely with Senior HR Advisors to provide pro-active, professional, and consistent HR advice and support on all aspects of HR to managers and employees including application of HR policy, performance management, disciplinaries, grievances and appeals and provide HR support for change initiatives.

You'll need previous experience of managing your own caseload and working autonomously to tight deadlines in a fast-paced multifaceted environment. You'll also be able to demonstrate the below essential experience:
* Experience of delivering high quality HR advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders.
* Experience in conduct and capability matters, absence, dismissals and appeals.
* Good knowledge of Employment Law and experience of advising on its practical application.
* Customer focused, with the ability to listen to and understand the viewpoints and needs of a range of stakeholders whilst handling a high case load in a fast-paced environment.
* Good multi-tasking and organisational skills.
* Good oral and written communications.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
* A working knowledge of HR systems, particularly with Oracle.
* Experience of providing advice in Housing and/or Regulated Care environment.
Qualifications - Essential
* CIPD qualified to level 5 or working towards.
