Job description

The above posts offer an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated Family Support Workers to join the School Nursing service within NHS Forth Valley. We want to ensure children; young people and their families receive the right support at the right time.
Candidates should have a high standard of communication and organisational skills and have the ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to and show a deep understanding of family issues and should have experience of delivering a variety of support programmes for both children, young people, and their caregivers. A willingness to work with partner agencies, under the supervision of the School Nurse Team Leader is also essential.
Candidates should hold or be working towards achieving a relevant SCQF qualification at level 7/8 related to children and young people e.g. Higher National Diploma/ Certificate in Children and Young People’s health and wellbeing or equivalent.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
