We are looking for a Farming & Nature Support Officer to join the North Pennines National Landscape team for a period of 24 months.
This role is a hands-on, feet on the ground facilitation role working with farmers and landowners and building up close relationships across different elements of the Tees-Swale programme.
You will work on the North Pennines National Landscape's Tees-Swale programme, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, in a supportive role to the Farming and Nature Officers, liaising with landowners and farmers to deliver nature recovery works.
You will be educated to degree level in a related field or equivalent or have substantial experience doing similar duties.
You should be able to facilitate discussions, leading to amicable solutions and have experience of working with landowners and/or farmers for common solutions in nature recovery.
Salary: Grade 9 £33,024 to £36,648 per annum
Employment Location: North Pennines National Landscape Office, Stanhope (hybrid working options available).
