This Kingsmills Hotel is a 4-star, 147 bedroom hotel situated one mile from the City Center of Inverness. The Hotel is privately owned and is part of the Kingsmills Hotel Group. About you
You are a an experienced, passionate, motivated individual with a positive outlook who can lead by example and bring people along with you. A sense of humour and an ability to work in a way that constantly reviews and improves ways of working is essential. Enhancing and enjoying what you do really inspires those around you.
To make the impact required in this diverse role, you must have excellent communication and influential skills and the ability to deal with the pressures of day-to-day operational challenges in a positive way.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead a team of around 30 associates, as assistant and four Supervisors.
- Responsible for the daily operation of two restaurants and private dining areas.
- Delivering intimate wedding meal experience.
- Ensure that excellent quality service is delivered to all our guests.
- Be involved in the interviewing and training of all new associates to the team.
- Identify, implement and monitor all standards, health & safety & risk assessments.
- Duty Management Shift is included in this position.

- Strong Communication skills
- Act as a role model for all associates by displaying a positive approach through training, inspiration and motivation.
- Excellent food and wine knowledge is essential.
