Job Title: Female* Support worker/personal assistant

Hourly rate: £15 per hour

Hours/shifts: Up to 6 hours per week to be agreed with employer.
Summary
I am a friendly, active, 32-year-old female, who enjoys walking and cycling. I am looking for a personal assistant to support me to participate in activities I enjoy, to support me to take positive responsibility for my health and wellbeing and to recognise when I am feeling unwell and support me to access appropriate services.
Other Requirements

Description
Typical duties
Domestic:
Support with housework as required.
Social:
Support me to participate in activities I enjoy.
To support me to engage more with the community through groups and organisations.
Support me to attend medical appointments as required.
Any other reasonable task.
Other tasks:
To recognize when I am feeling unwell and support me to access appropriate services.
Support and encourage me to take positive responsibility for my health and wellbeing.
To liaise with my lead practitioner regarding contingency and risk enablement plans.

Person specification
The successful applicant will be:
Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the workplace.
Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good time-keeping.
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative.
Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties.
Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard.
Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common-sense approach to this role.
