Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

The Role

• Contracted to 40hrs per week on site hours Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime and travel paid door to door.
• Company van provided with this role.

We are hiring for this test and inspect role to work on various framework agreements we have with our clients across the South East of England.

This role will involve travelling to various sites within a 2hr radius, we do try to keep travel to a minimum though, as part of our sustainability policy.

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
• Ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and regulations are adhered to
• Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project’s quality plan and inspection and test plans
• Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
• Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers

Requirements

Required

• ECS Gold Card (essential)
• Test & Inspection level 3 certificate (essential)
• Fitness to work medical.
• Full UK driving license.

Desirable

• Experience within water / industrial / commercial industries
• PASMA / IPAF
• EUSR / Thames Water Passport
• Emergency first aid or first aider.
