SalaryRight Now Group are currently partnered with an industry leader who are closely linked to the Engineering sector. They have an open vacancy within their Field Service Engineering team in the Bedfordshire region after a continued period of sustained growth.

IMPORTANT: Full Training will be provided as well as a company van - please note all applicants must have a full drivers license due to the nature of this role.
Job Title:Field Service Engineer
Weekly Hours: 40 hours Monday - Friday. Generous overtime available at weekends if desired.
Salary: £30-£35k

Role Description
- Carry out Remedial Maintenance initiated by customer requests for service as directed
- Control panel wiring, onsite modification and fault finding
- Partake in and carry out machine installations and commissioning as required
- Ensure that all Technical Documentation is kept available and up to date
- Ensure that at all times you promote the Best Practise approach to your duties
- Complete all necessary reports as part of the Service and Maintenance procedures
- Assistance in maintenance of organisational charts for customers as a basis for networking
- Providing technical assistance to customers
Desirable
- Previous experience in a Field Service Engineering or Technician role
- Electrical qualification, City & Guilds, NVQ etc
- Electrical knowledge, previous experience in maintenance or some form of mechanics/electrics
- Experience working with single and 3 phase electricity supplies
- Knowledge of fire and security, control panels or working on commercial sites
- CSCS or F-gas experience - not essential
- Experience in working out on the road from a van or car
- Good customer relationship skills
- Flexible approach to working hours and days
