Finance Analyst

Our client, a well-known brand name with a fun and fast-paced culture, is looking to hire an ambitious Finance Analyst to join its ranks. The role is ideally suited to an ACCA/CIMA studier with a strong academic profile, looking to take the next step in their finance career with a business that can provide future reward and development.
Key duties of the role will cover the preparation of management accounts, ensuring the ledger is maintained and reconciled each month, as well as bank reconciliations and any ad hoc projects.
Main responsibilities:
* Completing P&LS for Operations team to review
* Ensuring invoices received are properly coded and authorised for payment, reconciling supplier statement for Financial Accounts team to review
* Supporting with key tasks for audit support and raising Capex Pos
* Responsibility for inventory control, working with site operations to review and reconcile balance sheet accounts
* Ensuring accurate and timely posting of weekly revenue
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and month end reporting
* Supporting with systems transitions
* Supporting the FC and FD on ad hoc projects
Key skills & experience required:
* Active CIMA/ACCA studier
* Graduate from a highly regarded University and strong A-Level Grades
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced Finance team, comfortable with the day to day operations, at least 1 years' exposure
* Strong interpersonal skills and a confident communicator
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proactive and positive approach to problem solving
* Good working knowledge of Excel
