Finance Analyst

Exciting new role for a Finance Analyst to join a medium sized business based in Oxford. Parking on site with hybrid working.

Client Details

My client based in Oxford are looking for a Finance Analyst with exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. You will report into the Senior Financial & Planning Manager and be responsible for owning Balance sheet & P&L reporting, preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals & prepayments.

The company have parking on site, offer hybrid working, and salary ranges from £45k - £55k depending on experience.

Description

Finance Analyst responsibilities:

• Ownership of Balance sheet & P&L reporting
• Monthly review of aged debtors and creditors
• Maintenance and updating of Fixed Asset Register including monthly depreciation calculations
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals & prepayments
• Ensure that revenue is recorded accurately & reported to ensure billing is up to date
• Ensure Sales invoices are raised
• Ensure refunds are processed on a weekly basis with AP
• Process payroll journals from external payroll provider & reconcile PAYE control
• Assist Senior Manager with the preparation of the cost budgets
• Ensure proposed capital spend is approved in line with procedure & budget

Profile

The successful Finance Analyst experience/ skills:

• Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA or other relevant experience
• Highly analytical with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and external parties
• Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Competent using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
