The client are a global retail company, that are growing quickly, and are looking for a Finance Analyst/Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. They have hybrid working, and are looking for a candidate to work across both the consolidation of the management packs, and the forecasting/budgeting for the group.

The role will work on the production & consolidation of the International monthly management accounts pack, whilst also focusing on the financial planning and analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
It is a varied role that reports directly into the FPandA Manager, and the role will have a number of different progression prospects. The office is based in the City of London (Shoreditch) and the successful candidate will work in the office a minimum of 1 day per week.
Description
The successful Finance Analyst/Management Accountant will:
- Responsible for the development of all regular commercial finance and management reporting
- Preparing the month end accounts and managing the month end process
- Financial planning and analysis reviews
- KPI analysis
- Profit and Loss Analysis
- Variance analysis - monthly - with commentary
- Weekly and monthly sales reporting
- Yearly budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Cashflow reporting
- Business Partnering with the supply chain operations team
- Manage 1 direct report (Finance Analyst)
- Ad hoc reporting
Profile
The successful Finance Analyst/Management Accountant will:
- Have approximately 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Have a mix of both an analytical and management accounts background
- Previous Business Partnering experience
- Experience working as a Finance Analyst in a retail company (highly desirable)
- Prior working knowledge of SAP (desirable, not essential)
- ACCA or CIMA finalist as a minimum
- Advanced Excel skills
