Esure have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Applications Technical Lead to join our Finance team! 

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the day to day support of the Oracle E-Business Suite / P2P / Financial Accounting Hub as well as working on system enhancement projects. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing current financial applications, ensuring the integration of data from policy admin applications, third party interfaces including the balance sheet reconciliation tool, Blackline. To ensure the platforms and processes are developed for accurate reporting and reconciliation and associated control mechanisms are in place.

• Experience of financial accounting processes and procedures.
• Essential technical skills (SQL*Plus & PL/SQL, Unix, Github)
• Experience supporting the following Oracle Financials applications;
  • General Ledger
  • Financial Accounting Hub (FAH)
  • Payables
  • Purchasing
  • Assets
  • Cash Management
  • Accounts Receivable
  • System Administrator
  • Oracle Workflow / Approvals Management (AME)
• Experience of Excel4Apps, particularly report design and maintenance or equivalent experience with other reporting tools is desirable.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive approach to problem investigation and resolution
• Good time management, prioritisation & organisational skills, able to self-manage.
• Good attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work within tight timelines.
• Hybrid functional / technical desirable and understanding of Accounting Processes and Methodologies would be beneficial.
• Incident Management and resolution
