Finance Assistant - About The Role
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 5 and will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function. You will be mainly focusing on purchase ledger however you will be required to support in other areas of finance.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Matching, checking and coding purchase invoices
- Assisting with purchase ledger and expenses payment runs
- Processing staff expenses and credit cards
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Entering cash book payments onto the system
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and employees
- Ad hoc projects and providing cover in a busy finance team
The successful Finance Assistant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Strong Excel skills
- Good experience with various accounting systems
- Ability to communicate at all levels
