Finance Assistant (20940-0124)

About the Role Permanent position, 36.5 hours per week (part-time considered). We are seeking an organised individual to join our Departmental Services Team to provide day-to-day support to the Library Finance and Administrative functions. Based in the library, you will act as a central point of contact for communications received from both internal and external stakeholders. As a University, we are committed to providing a vibrant and inclusive work environment where innovation and excellence thrive.  This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience supporting a large and busy department at the University.  About You You will have a good standard of education including GCSE (or equivalent) level Maths and English and ideally be AAT part qualified (stage 1).   With good general computer skills, you should have the experience of using excel, online ordering and ideally a good knowledge of SAP. You will have excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with staff, budget holders and both internal and external customers in a calm and professional manner. You should be able to work in a busy environment, demanding high levels of concentration and accuracy and be able to work with minimum supervision.
