Salary Job Title: Finance Assistant
Location: Stansted Mountfitchet
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 (Depending on experience)
Term: Permanent
Hours: 8:45am – 5:15pm Monday - Friday
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, and invoicing. This role requires a strong team player who is committed to ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The Role of Finance Assistant:
Build and maintain good working relationships with clients. Be responsive, and provide quality data and service.
Answer queries promptly and in accordance with procedures.
Ensure information systems are accurately maintained.
Monitor and chase outstanding debts
Process sales invoices and credit notes efficiently
Manage the purchase ledger by accurately recording supplier invoices
Ensure that the computer system is accurate and up-to-date.
Provide support and assistance to colleagues as needed. To be considered for the role of Finance Assistant:
Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, with specific experience in sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, and invoicing preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. The Package for Finance Assistant:
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:45am – 5:15pm Monday - Friday
