SalaryWorking with a talented and supportive team, this role (initially a 6 month contract) will involve the following tasks:
The Financial Assistant will support the Financial Controller as a key member of the Finance Team.
Maintain financial systems and reporting to help shape the future. Under the Financial Controllers leadership, the role will deliver accurate financial reporting based on robust accounting practice and cost control.
Responsibilities:
- To process purchase invoices, maintain supplier records and reconcile supplier statements.
- To process the purchase cards and payments.
- To assist with month end activities including posting journals and balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- To help provide reporting and support for the management team to enable effective decision making.
- To assist the financial controller in preparing the reports for the board of trustees
- To assist the Financial Controller in the annual external audit
- To identify opportunities for cost saving or revenue growth.
- To undertake projects as directed.
- To maintain strict confidentiality.
