Job Description
Morgan McKinley is working with a great company based in the Abingdon, Oxfordshire area who is looking to expand their Accounts - Credit Control team. This is a fab Finance Assistant job opportunity for someone with some Accounting or Credit Control experience or someone who is looking to kick start a career in an entry level Finance role. The position will involve Finance Admin, invoicing, credit control and providing an excellent customer service at all times.
Salary: £22,500
Location: Office based, parking onsite
Hours: 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday
Accounts Assistant duties:
- Accurate processing and allocation of receipts
- Credit control - Outgoing calls to customers to ensure payment of invoices
- Manual processing of invoices and credit notes
- Monitoring invoices raised
- Resolving customer queries in a timely manner, via email or telephone
- Month end duties, to include production of customer statements
Skills and experience:
- Ideally have some Finance / Accounts experience, credit control or collections, but not essential as training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Good IT skills
