Reed Accountancy in Oxford are working with a growing, busy client based in Thame to help source a Finance Assistant. This is an opportunity to join their medium sized finance function, in a niche industry. This role will give full training and support and is seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual who is seeking a career in finance - with no prior experience needed. The role pays up to £20,000 per annum, offers 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and Christmas shut down), discount scheme, free onsite parking and a supportive friendly environment.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Contacting bank with queries and cheque cancellations
- Entry level office administration
- Issuing cheques
- Processing banking transactions
- Processing of bills
- This role will build on the above to incorporate further duties as experience and learning increases
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual, with a drive to succeed in a career in finance. You will have a either at least grade B/6 in Maths and be computer literate on Microsoft packages, especially Excel. Finally, you will be able to work effectively in a busy team in a busy environment.
