Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Assistant for our client based in Camberley, on a temporary basis.
The Role:
Finance Assistant
Hours:
8:30am - 4pm - 4 days a week
Hourly rate:
Up to 17ph
Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for ordering resources using the companies finance system.
- To ensure orders are within budget guidelines, to ensure best value principles are adopted and ensure the correct delivery of orders.
- To process invoices and ensure that goods are delivered to the correct recipient, checked against original order by a third party and that all invoices are paid promptly.
- To deal with any queries arising from orders
- To be responsible for ordering resources using the company credit card and completing relevant paperwork
- To ensure that all orders relating to contractors are issued with the appropriate specification and that work is satisfactorily completed before final payments are made.
- To process BACS payment runs and ensure records are maintained of all these transactions.
- To support Business Manager with processing of Period End procedures
- Banking any monies as and when required
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by the Business Manager
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Previous experience within finance department
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail
