Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working alongside a fantastic business in the Kirby-in-Ashfield area as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant on a full time basis to cover a period of maternity leave however with the growth of the company there is definite potential for the role to go permanent.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily Cash and Bank Reconciliation including transactional posting and administration
- Inter-company account reconciliation
- Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Prepare for annual external Audit and answering Auditor queries in a timely manner
- Supporting the team with improving finance reports and processes
- Weekly payroll and credit card expense analysis
- Head office cost control analysis
- Ad-hoc duties assisting finance team as required
- Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake
Person Specification:
- Currently Studying/Looking to Study AAT
- GCSE English Language and Maths (or equivalent) at a minimum of grade 5
- Previous experience in a financial role/study preferred
- Confident in using Excel
- Confident in building strong relationships
- A professional approach, good communication skills and being highly motivated, ambitious and keen to learn
- An enthusiasm for business and finance
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Diligent and comfortable and experienced in working to meet deadlines
