Hays are currently recruiting for a thriving software engineering company based in Greater Manchester, who are in search of a Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. If you are a detail-orientated finance professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative company, this would be a great opportunity.
Your new role
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Processing weekly and monthly expenses and payments.
- Bank transaction reconciliations.
- Create and process sales invoices.
- Preparing payroll.
- Processing purchase orders.
- Investigating purchase ledger queries.
- High volume invoice processing.
- Assist in dealing with external agencies for tax preparation, auditing, and banking as necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proactive, personable and have a 'can-do attitude'. The successful candidate will be organised and have excellent attention to detail. You will be a quick learner and can pick up new systems easily. You will have a confident and efficient communication style to enable effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
