SalaryAssistant Accountant role working for a growing PE backed business based in Bedford! 30K - 33K
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of purchase ledger
- Maintenance of sales ledger and invoice codings
- Responsible for the finance inbox, distributing mails as necessary, submitting invoiceand filing emails in appropriate folders
- Responding to email queries and verifying supplier statements
- Updating the bank account and working with the finance manager to keep it reconciled
- Supporting the finance manager in updating the daily cash forecast
- Preparing the bi-weekly payment run, and distribute remittance advices
- Provide support to the finance manager for payroll
- Supporting the finance manager with month end close duties
Ideal candidate:
- Part Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
- Experience of Xero system
- Understanding of VAT essential
