Form of workNXTGEN are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join a well-known business as a Finance Assistant. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting transactional activities along with assisting with month end duties within the finance function. The position also requires someone to have an end to end payroll knowledge. This is a varied role within a dynamic business and one that will support you with career progression in the form of a study package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for all aspects of the purchase ledger, setting up new suppliers, due diligence checks, processing purchase invoices and preparing payments.
* Completing supplier statement reconciliations and timely resolution of any queries.
* Responsibility for all aspects of the sales ledger, from setting up new customers, due diligence checks, raising sales invoices and allocating customer receipts.
* Ensuring accurate and timely postings for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Cash.
* Preparing and maintaining documentation for standard procedures and processes.
* Sense checking and validating any information prepared to ensure correct and accurate.
* Assisting with monthly management accounts
* To support accountant with bi-weekly/monthly payroll, covering payroll when required independently.
