Finance Business Partner

As Finance Business Partner to work as part of the Business Partnering team within ForHousing’s finance function. You will contribute to providing a wide range of financial services including monthly management reporting, performance reports, statutory reports, and budget production.

What you’ll be doing:
• Take a lead role in understanding all aspects of financial management relating
to ForHousing so that they can deputise as and when needed for the Senior
Finance Business Partner and prepare the overall ForHousing and subsidiary
management accounts.
• Provide business advice to the wider organisation covering all financial aspects
from technical accounting advice, procurement and VfM best practice, budget
management and preparation training, financial regulation guidance and
briefing on budget holder expectations.
• Prepare the budget and ongoing forecasts for all management income and
expenditure ensuring all budgets are accounted for accurately.
• Work agilely as part of a team to provide a professional and high-quality
Business Partnering service to ForHousing.
What we’re looking for:
• Ability to use initiative and take ownership for issues that may arise and be
proactive
• A strong commitment to high quality customer service, both internal and
external
• Experience of advising and supporting managers on budgets experience of
extracting data and information from IT systems.
• Able to work with demanding deadlines.
