Key Responsibilities & Accountability’s:
- Monthly Customer Profitability Reports: Produce accurate and insightful monthly customer profitability reports.
- Data Integrity: Identify, understand, and test any issues with data sources and processing through reporting models.
- Anomaly Resolution: Review report outputs for anomalies and proactively resolve issues.
- Methodology Review: Ensure reports align with company processes, incorporating changes as necessary.
- Analytical Tools: Utilize Power BI or similar analytical tools to enhance data from specialist systems and D365.
- Commercial Acumen: Understand all elements of the customer experience, from order process to invoicing, and contribute to enhancing commercial strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders in Customer Services, Supply Chain, and Procurement to ensure accurate data and cost calculation methodologies.
- Cost to Serve Analysis: Provide scenario analysis for new and existing business tenders, collaborating with various departments to gather necessary data.
- Coaching and Support: Provide coaching and support to Account Managers, increasing awareness of how customer behaviour’s impact profitability.
- Account Review Meetings: Attend regular account review meetings and workshops with Sales teams, identifying revenue, margin, and operational cost improvement actions.
- KPI Trend Analysis: Produce insightful KPI trend analysis by Region, Team, Rep, and Customer.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Undertake all activities in line with Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, actively participating in creating a safe and healthy workplace.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Communication: Strong communication skills for effective business partnering.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to design and review the output of reports with a focus on commercial impact.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, adopting a logical approach to problem-solving with variance visualisation.
- Adaptability: Ability to continuously improve processes and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Qualifications or Equivalent Experience:
- Professional Qualifications: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with PQE.
- Technical Skills: Advanced level Excel and Power BI query ability.
- System Experience: Microsoft Dynamics/365 experience would be highly beneficial but not essential.
