Finance Business Partner

We are on the hunt for a Finance Business Partner to join a successful consumer goods business, based near Chichester.
You will get involved in key tendering processes and agreements for the company, as well as conducting analysis and reporting on various aspects of the accounts. You will be offered flexible working hours, generous holiday leave and study support to excel in your career.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the tendering process and supplier agreements for contracts
• Preparation of commercial KPIs
• Conducting effective analysis to enhance efficiency and profitability
• Working closely with the commercial team and providing accurate financial forecasts and analysis
• Reporting on variance analysis, providing commentary
• Accurate reporting on customer volumes, sales and marginal gross profit
• Maintenance of the ERP system (SAP)

What you will need:

• To be qualified or studying towards CIMA / ACCA / ACA certification
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Business Partner / Finance Analyst / Financial Reporting Analyst / Commercial Management Accountant / Management Accountant
• A background in the FMCG or manufacturing sector is beneficial
• Advanced Excel skills
• Confidence to investigate issues and challenge stakeholders when necessary
