Are you a finance professional with a passion for Business Partnership? This organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and strategic decision-making of the organisation\'s Commercial Services team. This organisation employs around 1700 staff, and you will be working with 50+ finance professionals in this exciting and dynamic role.
Your new role
You will be working within the finance office reporting directly to the head of financial planning. You will work with senior colleagues and demonstrate skills and experience of working in a busy finance environment. This is a varied and interesting role which will see you get involved in financial accounting, management accounting and business development.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of a small team along with ensuring key stakeholders are well-supported in regards to stakeholder management. You will also be involved in implementing financial strategy and planning, supporting the organisation by identifying new income sources, making sure financial plans are robust and delivering action plans to ensure financial sustainability is delivered.
You will also maintain a great understanding of sector developments, delivering quantitative, qualitative data and statistical analysis to highlight trends, share insights and evaluate alternatives against business objectives. You will work with senior colleagues to ensure effective and efficient use of resources and deliver KPI improvement. A key part of this role involves working as an influence Business Partner with a wide range of stakeholders.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant and will hold a professional qualification such as CIPFA, ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW or CIMA. You will also have some experience of managing staff and great Business Partnering skills. You will be strong with financial systems and have advanced excel. In addition, you will be experienced in managing complex financial information and experience in reviewing financial performance, financial planning and forecasting.
