Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with an ambitious Local Authority who are looking to identify a Finance Business Partnerto join the Council, as part of proactive plans to strengthen their Finance Team.
This is an excellent opportunity to add value, in a role that offers predominantly remote working (occasional trips to the office).
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the key responsibilities include;
- Providing a robust accounting service to a range of key service areas
- Liaising with budget holders to produce accurate budgets and ensure that financial risk is understood
- Assisting in the training of budget holders on financial matters
- Production of KPI reports
- Presentation of financial reports to senior management
- Attendance and contribution to regular budget monitoring reports with senior stakeholder
The person;
- Qualified Accountant (or significant Sector experience)
- Ability to build relationships with non-Finance
- Public Sector Finance experience
