Form of workThis excellent opportunity will involve working primarily for the leading and developing finance function provision in a timely and accurate financial information. This role is ideal for an individual who can bring new ideas and help lead and deliver to senior management and our wider business ambitions. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Finance.
Key duties of the role include:
- Support the Head of Finance in driving the delivery, utilisation and efficiency of financial processes and resources.
- Takes the lead on business forecasting, actively setting targets for costs, savings, and opportunities to align with contracted financial targets.
- Being able to support due diligence on growth plans.
- Confident individual who works well in a team environment, can also build and maintain client & customer relationships
- Excellent verbal & written skills are essential to the Senior Management team
- Lead Role in cashflows and Margin targets
- Responsible for the preparation of Internal Financial Reports (Weekly cashflows, Monthly Managements, Quarterly projections).
- Work to improve business wide understanding of the contract’s KPIs as part of the periodic reporting cycle, enabling better business decisions.
Qualifications:
- ICAS / ACCA /CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with a variety of financial reporting and finance system-related queries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with various computer accounting software packages and proficient in using Microsoft Word/Excel
On offer:
- Salary £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
