Form of workI’m currently looking for a newly qualified Finance Analyst / Finance Business Partner to be part of a FTSE listed business based in Birmingham City Centre who need an ambitions, commercially aware Accountant to join their finance team focussing on marketing spend/trends, stock and supply-chain.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in providing financial support and guidance to the business, driving performance and growth alongside working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance on marketing strategies.
Key reponsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing financial support and guidance to key stakeholders including the Marketing Director.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with non-finance staff, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and insight, identifying trends and opportunities to drive performance.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing input and guidance to the business.
Key requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in commercial finance.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand and analyse business performance.
- Experience within the retail sector able to work under pressure during busy periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous.
