The Client:
A growing venture capital firm, is searching for a passionate and ambitious Finance Controller to join the team in an exciting time of growth.

The Role:
Finance Controller duties will include but are not limited to:

• Managing all financial/accounting operations for the organization
• Preparing cashflow forecasting
• Supporting with fund management and month-end / year-end close processing
• Coordinating the preparation of budget and financial forecasts
• Managing relevant external suppliers, including accountants and financial/tax advisers
• Ensuring regulated entities meet obligations (i., reporting)
• Supporting on investment close process, including onboarding, deal execution and funds flow

The successful candidate will:

• Be a self-starter and happy to be hands-on from the first day
• Have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
• Hold a relevant accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent - required)
• Have excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Be a team player and have the willingness to challenge yourself and others to make the greatest impact as a business
• Be highly confidential and discrete
• Be a good problem-solver and able to think on your feet
• Have experience in accounting and/or other professional services (preferred)

The Details and Benefits:

• Salary up to £50k depending on experience (pro-rata)
• This role is part-time 2-3 days/week and is fully-office based, with offices based in Islington
• The client are open to candidates on a part-time basis to begin with. There is scope to grow into a full-time role if desired and a mutually agreed fit
