Fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6 months, inside IR35 day rate contract as a Financial Data Analyst. The Financial Data Analyst will report to the Finance Transformation Manager and will play a key role in the financial data improvement project providing data management and reconciliation support.
What will you be doing?
Reconciliation of historical and future financial data to ensure data integrity and alignment to the existing financial data model to enable consistent and accurate reporting.
Assist with the translation and migration of historical financial data to DCC's new financial data model to improve full lifetime reporting for both Internal & External stakeholders.
Working with other teams within Finance to prepare and process correcting journals and update forecasts where appropriate.
Create and maintain supporting schedules for the creation of monthly journals.
Identify key areas of improvements to existing master data structures and financial systems to provide additional granularity in reports.
Other ad hoc data reconciliation activities, as required.
What are we looking for?
Experience of working with complex data and performing reconciliations between different data sources.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to complete complex analysis, evaluate data, and present findings to colleagues in a simple way.
Data validation, data processing and data governance experience is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team and build relationships with a range of internal and stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a dynamic organisation.
Proactive and organised.
