Description
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals for growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- A strong focus on finance systems, ensuring automation where possible and creating a robust systems plan to deliver effective business growth.
- Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing timely variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to finance staff to enhance their skills and contribute to their professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support key business initiatives and ensure financial considerations are integrated into decision-making processes.
Profile
A successful Finance Director should have:Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Proven experience as a Finance Director in a manufacturing setting with a turnover of £40-80 million.
Strong financial and business acumen
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices
Job Offer
Salary on offer between 85,000K-95,000K depending on experience
