Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Days/ Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

The company

Office Angels are truly excited to be recruiting exclusively for this brand new and exciting position. A well established and professional company based in Bishop's Stortford are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team. You will be based in their bight, modern and open head office and will need be organised, proactive and have high attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress in their career while still being an integral part of the team from the beginning.

Duties

• Ensuring all supplier queries dealt within 24 hours
• Performing supplier and client accounts reconciliations
• Allocating company payments
• Maintaining the internal vendor spreadsheet
• Accurately recording, coding and processing business invoices and credit notes
• Overseeing the Finance inboxes, ensuring that all invoices and credit notes are acknowledged
• Reviewing and actioning aged balances
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Assisting in providing required documentation to external auditors

The ideal candidate

• You have previous accounts experience
• You are confident and professional
• You have good communication skills
• You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience
• You will be working towards a professional qualification
• You have strong excel skills
• You have an ability to work individually and as part of a team
• You have strong attention to detail
• You are organised and structured
• You have a proactive mindset
