Berry Recruitment are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based in Potter’s Bar.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all payable transactions.
Pay rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00-17:30), Office Based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain approval for supplier invoices.
- Accurately process and log supplier invoices.
- Manage recharges as necessary.
- Address and resolve supplier inquiries.
- Prepare supplier payments using BACS.
- Handle and manage email communications.
- Assist with phone queries from suppliers.
- Reconcile supplier accounts against statements.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ideally AAT, ACCA, or QBE.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role (minimum 18 months).
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and data entry.
- Familiarity with Netsuite and Moveware is advantageous.
- Happy to undergo a Basic DBS Check.
