The Company
KSEYE Group is an established bridging finance company specialising within the bridging and short-term lending markets. Following continued success and growth, the company is looking to establish a senior, Director level, leadership team. Having recently hired a Sales Director and working alongside the longstanding Legal Director, the company is now keen to welcome an experienced Finance & Reporting Director to join the expanding Finance and leadership team.
KSEYE currently has two separate finance-based team, internal accounts (traditional finance/accounting team) and a reporting team (analysing and reporting on external funding and lending). The company aims to merge the two teams together to create a more structured and streamlined finance function.
Responsibilities
- Active member of the Executive Team with the ability to work closely with the Board and Executive colleagues to provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction.
- Responsible for ensuring strategic alignment of plans across the various product teams and with Group economics.
- Full management and oversight of the current finance and reporting teams.
- Responsible for creating monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting models.
- Ensuring all HMRC accounts are submitted, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Contributing to the setting of the strategic direction of the finance team, through the provision of key commercial decisions.
- Producing packs and monthly slides for presenting to board level.
- Responsible for all finance and reporting MI including; cost saving, efficiencies, funding reporting etc.
- Presenting year to date spend, budgets and realigning for future and unforeseen spends.
- Managing and developing a small team; Finance [4] and Reporting [3].
- Actively business partner with/to the executive team and Board.
- Provide ongoing and effective levels of support to your team, the wider team and challenge colleagues.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during reviews and various audits, as required. Ultimately, ensure audits are completed in a timely manner and to the required standards of external parties (funders, auditors, banks etc.)
- Conduct internal training and development programs for internal teams.
Education & Experience
- A finance leader with previous director level experience.
- Experienced team manager, able to mentor and lead.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Desired: Previous experience in the short-term lending sector or similar.
- Desired: Qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Preferred: Ability to deliver in a timely manner with accuracy.
- Preferred: Ability to change, improve and streamline end to end processes across teams.
