Finance Director

Are you an experienced Finance Director from the manufacturing sector? Experienced at working in a PLC enviroment?

Shillito Executive Search are pleased to be working with a sucessful manufacturing group as they look to recruit a new Finance Director into their Sheffield business.

What does the role involve?

Reporting to the CFO and working with the wider executive team, you will manage the Sheffield-based finance team but also oversee multiple businesses across the UK and Europe as part of the wider group.

As Finance Director you will be responsible for providing strategic and financial leadership and oversight to ensure that the company’s financial commitments are met.

You will develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the company’s business.

Under your remit, you will direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.

You will develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met, and financial and statutory regulations complied with.

You will be responsible for carrying out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations, including establishing and monitoring a robust internal control structure.

What are we looking for?

We're interested in speaking to those with extensive senior level accountancy experience, either ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.

You will ideally have experience of working in a PLC environment, ideally in a US listed Company and have significant managerial experience

You will have worked within manufacturing, construction contracting industry, Civil Engineering or similar.
