Cedar are supporting a Private Equity firm in search of a Finance Director for a newly acquired Manufacturing business.
This number 1 finance role will partner an impressive, seasoned CEO - improving and maintaining the company's financial strategy and overseeing all of the finance and accounting operations - from Management reporting, to Financial Planning to banking/treasury.
As the head of Finance for a profitable business with lucrative commercial contracts in the pipeline, you will be a board observer, advising senior management and delivering timely and insightful analysis to support strategic decision making and maximise growth; by strengthening commercial strategy whilst also taking a steer on continuous improvement of controls, processes and systems.
The Private Equity owners are seeking someone with Manufacturing experience, who is able to navigate all areas of the Finance function and is accustomed to a hands-on environment, able to operate with the support of a small team.
To be successful in this role you will need to be:
- A qualified accountant with PQE
- An inquisitive individual with commercial acumen, who enjoys getting under the skin of a business to truly understand the business drivers and ways to drive improvements
- Experienced operating at a Senior Finance / Financial Controller level - with a broad background across different areas of Finance
- Experience of a Manufacturing business is essential!
