Finance Director

My client is a growing group with ambitious plans, Due to this they are seeking an ambitious Finance Director to join the business improve profitability and give a more robust platform for growth.
Candidates will be joining the business at an exciting time and will be heavily involved in change and improvement with the focus to achieve class leading levels of financial performance.
This role works closely with CEO and CFO and will oversee the fully range of record to report processes:
• M&A Activity
• Cost Control
• System implementation
• Bank and cash management
• Management of Finance Staff.
• Compliance representative
• Statutory accounts and auditor liaison
• Tax, VAT and other required filings
• Working with business to provide timely and actionable information
• Key role in improvement projects
The ideal candidate will be formally qualified (ACA / ACCA) Practice Trained and have PQE gained within a similar leadership position with ambition to secure a CFO position in the medium term.
Candidate will be expected to be process orientated with a passion for improvement with a self-driven approach to introduce class leading standards of performance
A good level of IT Literacy is essential to include MS Excel (Pivots / Look Ups) and experience of major integrated business / ERP system experience such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Dynamics Nav etc
