Resourcery Group is proud to support an exceptional organisation in Manchester seeking a Finance Director, Resources, and Operations. The successful candidate will join the dynamic Executive Leadership team, working collaboratively across all areas of the organisation from a strategic and operational standpoint. As the leader of the organisation's business functions, you will bring a pragmatic and business-like approach to ensure efficient and capable services are delivered. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a diverse team across various disciplines- IT, HR, Estates, Facilities, and Administration.
- Streamline and implement efficient processes and procedures for the finance and accountancy function.
- Take full responsibility for all financial operations, compliance, and reporting, including liaising with auditors and external funders.
- Establish strong financial controls.
- Provide strategic leadership for financial growth and sustainability.
- Collaborate with senior management and the Board to develop effective strategies, business planning, and risk management.
- Conduct financial appraisals and oversee any future Capital projects.
- Attend Board meetings and other ELT agendas.
- Hold a professional qualification with one of the recognised bodies: CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIPFA.
- Have experience working within the Not-for-Profit sector, ideally in Further Education, Higher Education, or Independent Schools.
- Have a proven track record in a multi-faceted role, managing various disciplines such as procurement, IT, HR, Administration, Estates, and Facilities.
- Possess excellent technical ability and experience in implementing new systems and processes.
- Have a mentality of adding value, making a difference, and enabling growth and success.
- Demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to drive change.

- Competitive salary of £65,000- £70,000 (dependent on experience).
