An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join the Finance Business Partnering Team. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director Finance Business Partnering you’ll lead a team responsible for providing a comprehensive range of financial services for our Corporate Service departments, commercial property portfolio’s and community Foundation.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manger (Corporate Services & Commercial & Community Foundation) include:
· Responsible for the line management of a finance team.
· Collaborate, build relationships and influence a variety of business partners - including senior decision makers;
· Responsible for year-end accounting processes to deliver a financial framework which leads to seamless Group reporting;
· Responsible for the delivery of the financial information that we provide to business partners – supporting improved operational decision making;
· Lead finance projects including: financial accounting reviews, system improvements, cost driver analysis, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and resource allocation reviews;
· Develop an excellent knowledge of the business area; working with business partners and managers to set priorities for financial analysis and service improvement with a particular focus on financial control.

· Be a fully qualified (CCAB) accountant with strong academic record;
· Experience of management or financial accounting in a complex organisation;
· Have a proven track record delivering complex projects;
· Have excellent technical accounting knowledge and an understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP;
· Be an excellent communicator; with the ability to influence senior decision makers;
· Have excellent computer, financial systems and analytical skills including advance Excel, and financial reporting tools.

We are a multi-site organisation, so some roles may require occasional travel between offices, but expenses will be covered.
