We areinviting applications for the role of Finance Manager. The successful candidatewill report to the Assistant Commissioner of Corrections (Administration) andwill be responsible for managing the Department of Corrections' allocatedbudget. This includes preparing budgets, financial planning, ensuringcompliance with government financial instructions, and providing accuratefinancial information and professional advice to the commissioner and budgetmanagers. The post holder will also make recommendations for decision-making toimprove financial management.
Applicantsmust be a qualified accountant designation and be a full member of aninternationally recognized professional body. A minimum of five (5) yearspost-qualification experience working in cost and capital accounting, andfinancial analysis is required together with proven experience in managementand supervision of staff. Additionally, the post holder must have provenexperience in management and supervision and good interpersonal andcommunication skills.
